Whole Latte Love Fellowship

Women’s Missionary Union (WMU)

As a missions ministry within a congregation, WMU encourages and provides opportunities for all church members and other participants to be aware of and involved in missions and cooperates with other missions ministries within the congregation to help the congregation fulfill its missions potential.

In 1888, a handful of women dedicated to the cause of missions founded Woman’s Missionary Union. Since that time, WMU has become the largest Protestant organization for women in the world, with a membership of approximately 1 million. WMU also was the first and remains the largest body of organized laity in the Southern Baptist Convention.

Sewing Ministry Ladies
Nancy Dunn - who leads the Sewing Ministry!
This year we have been able to include in each bag, a very simple gospel tract as well as a beautiful stamped label on inside flap identifying our church fellowship as the provider. We still meet the first Monday of each month from 2-4pm, in the fellowship hall. We typically suspend meeting in the summer months (June - August) and resume in September.

2019  February—We worked on small drawstring bags for Saved by Grace (serve the homeless and less fortunate) and Amity House (serve women women affected by domestic violence), two christian affiliated service organizations in Brunswick.

2019 March—We worked on small lightweight drawstring bags that were requested for the Romanian mission trip that many of our fellowship are participating in this summer.

2019 April—We finished 50 large duffle drawstring bags for DFACS children to have a personal bag to transport clothing, etc. when they are removed from biologic home.

Titus 2 Women’s Luncheon – Monthly

Titus 2 Women is Frederica Baptist Church's ministry to those who are widowed or are by themselves. Once a month, usually on the third Monday, we meet at the church, board the church bus and go eat lunch together at interesting restaurants usually within an hour's drive of the church. The fellowship is encouraging, uplifting and fun and Brother Paul, who drives the bus keeps us laughing and smiling and sometimes singing the whole way there and back!

We have so much fun together, exploring new restaurants and laughing together!
                                                         Come join us!
